It is a great honour to have been selected as the Conservative Parliamentary Candidate for South Shropshire. I have had a deep connection to this county long before I became a parliamentary candidate. First and foremost, this is the place in which my family and I chose to settle. My children go to school here, and it is the area that we call home.
Growing up in the Marches, I spent much of my childhood in and around Shropshire. One of my first school trips was to Ludlow Castle, and then on to picnic in the beautiful Carding Mill Valley. Since then, whilst training for charity events, I have run what seems like the entire range of the Shropshire Hills. I have a strong appreciation for Shropshire’s unique beauty.
I have always believed that the people of South Shropshire deserve good services, strong representatives, and the assurance that their political representatives act in their best interests. I have been campaigning in Shropshire as far back as the 2016 Bishop’s Castle by-election. In 2017, I was incredibly humbled to receive support during my council election campaign by the Ludlow Conservative Association.
As your candidate, I am committed to working hard to deliver for the residents of South Shropshire and ask for your support so that I can stand with you for our constituency. I am eager to listen to your concerns, support our local community and deliver the services you deserve. I believe that to work for the good of the county, it is important to work with the people in the county.
If elected, it would be my privilege to serve as MP for an area that is so incredibly dear to my family and I. Together, we can ensure that South Shropshire remains a fantastic place to live and work.
